Man Critically Injured in Pedestrian Accident in Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (Jan. 5, 2024) – A pedestrian was critically injured Friday morning in a car accident at Shields Avenue and Palm Avenue in central Fresno.
The collision occurred just before 4 a.m. on Jan. 5th, according to the Fresno Police Department and Your Central Valley News.
Police reported they found the injured man in the roadway near Shields and Palm avenues, but the driver involved had fled the scene.
Paramedics rushed the injured man to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities are searching for the driver and asking witnesses to contact them with any information to help them solve the crime.
