Pedestrian Injured in Guerneville Accident on River Road (State Route 116)

GUERNEVILLE, Calif. (May 5, 2026) — A pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck Tuesday afternoon at State Route 116 (River Road) near Armstrong Woods Road in Guerneville, authorities said.

The collision was reported on May 5th at approximately 1:52 p.m. at Armstrong Woods Road and state Route 116 in Guerneville, according to dispatch records. Initial reports indicated a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash, with an open line call to emergency services.

A driver in a Dodge RAM 1500 pickup truck reportedly struck the victim at the intersection.

California Highway Patrol logs show officers were en route shortly after the incident was reported. An officer arrived on scene around 2:50 p.m., though no additional details about the pedestrian’s condition or the circumstances leading up to the crash were immediately available.
