Pedestrian Injured in Victorville Crash on Bear Valley Road, 2nd Avenue

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (May 1, 2026) — A driver in a black Mazda struck a male pedestrian on Thursday night on westbound Bear Valley Road, west of 2nd Avenue in Victorville, officials said.

The major injury collision occurred around 7:10 p.m. on April 30, 2026, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dept.

The collision occurred in the 11790 block of Bear Valley Road near the McDonald’s fast food restaurant.

Paramedics responded and transported the injured man to Desert Valley Hospital and then he was airlifted to a trauma center due to major injuries.

The four-door Mazda sedan sustained major front-end damage and a shattered windshield. The driver stopped and cooperated with authorities and the investigation into fault. It’s unknown if drugs and or alcohol were a factor in the collision at this time.
