Man Critically Injured in Hit-and-run Crash in Tarzana
TARZANA, Calif. (Feb. 12, 2025) – Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a man in a crosswalk Tuesday morning at Reseda Boulevard and Clark Street in Tarzana.
A man in his 60s is listed in critical condition after being struck by a black Ford F-150 pickup truck at the intersection, ABC 7 News reports.
The Los Angeles Police Department is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the driver who fled.
LAPD officials reported the southbound Ford F-150 was traveling along Reseda and made a left turn onto Clark Street where the vehicle hit the victim walking in a marked crosswalk.
The aftermath was caught on surveillance and shows the pickup truck driver stop after the collision. The driver pulled over and went over to the victim, looked at him, and went back into his truck and drove away.
The suspect was wearing a blue sweatshirt and cap and driving the black truck carrying a couch, a trash bin, and a recycling bin in the back.
Meanwhile, paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department transported the injured man to a local hospital in critical condition.
Anyone with information about the suspect could receive or share a $25,000 reward offered if the suspect is arrested and convicted.
