Pedestrian Struck at San Bernardino County Intersection
LOMA LINDA, Calif. (Dec. 17, 2024) – A 66-year-old pedestrian, identified as Karel Schelden of San Bernardino, was fatally struck on Friday at Redlands Boulevard and Richardson Street.
The deadly crash occurred at 7 p.m. on December 6, 2024, according to a press release by the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene at the intersection of Redlands Boulevard and Richardson Street in Loma Linda. Despite efforts to assist, Schelden was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The fatal pedestrian accident remains under investigation. Witnesses or anyone with additional information should contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department-Highland Station.
