COSTA MESA, California — According to an article by OC Register, a man died after being hit by a cargo van towing go-carts along Harbor Boulevard Saturday afternoon.
Primary investigation revealed the male pedestrian was running westbound across Harbor, just north of Date Place, when a Ford Econoline traveling southbound struck him.
Responding medics transported the victim to Orange County Global Medical Center with major head trauma and a faint pulse. At around 2:45 p.m., the man was pronounced dead.
The driver of the van remained at the scene and cooperated with the police officers.
No citations had been issued at this time.
