Pedestrian Killed in Car Accident on Lincoln Boulevard in Marina Del Rey

1 Killed in Car Accident at Lincoln Blvd., Near Marina (90) Freeway
MARINA DEL REY, Calif. (Sept. 9, 2026) – An investigation is underway into a fatal pedestrian accident in Marina Del Rey on Lincoln Boulevard, near the eastbound entrance to the Marina (90) Freeway.
A driver in a vehicle struck and killed the person around 9:58 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8th, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Detectives working on the case determined the southbound vehicle was traveling on Lincoln Boulevard when it struck a pedestrian walking in the No. 3 Lane, the LAPD said.
The pedestrian was thrown in a southwest direction, landed in the roadway and died at the scene.
The victim was not homeless, according to the LAPD, but further details on the victim’s identity were not immediately available.
