Fatal Bus Accident Azusa Avenue and Pepper Brook Way
HACIENDA HEIGHTS, Calif. (Sept. 24, 2024) – A Foothill Transit bus struck and killed a pedestrian Monday on Azusa Avenue in Hacienda Heights.
The deadly crash occurred near the intersection of Azusa Avenue and Pepper Brook Way at around 5:42 p.m. on Sept. 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It’s unknown what led up to the pedestrian accident at this time. Police and paramedics responded, but unfortunately pedestrian died at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner has not released the victim’s age, gender, or identity.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Hacienda Heights bus accident.
