Mac Reynaud ID’d as Victim of Fatal Pedestrian Accident
LOS ANGELES, California (May 2, 2016) – According to California Highway Patrol dispatch team, a deadly collision was reported on the Interstate 10 Freeway late Monday night.
The accident occurred in the westbound lanes of 10 Freeway near South Alameda Street, under the Interstate 5.
The victim was later identified by the coroner as Mac Reynaud, 66.
CHP first logged the incident when a pedestrian was struck by a green Ford Excursion at 11:55 p.m.
As per the dispatch, the victim suffered fatal injuries due to the force of the crash.
Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped, called the authorities and appeared to have remained at the scene.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
