Man, 60, Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident
TULARE (October 9, 2018)- According to the Visalia Times-Delta, a deadly pedestrian versus auto collision was reported last night on Paige Avenue yesterday morning near K Street.
The incident occurred at roughly 11:30 a.m. when a motorist traveling eastbound on Paige Avenue struck a male victim who had been also headed eastbound.
Victim Pronounced Dead at Kaweah Delta Med Center
The victim who is only being ID’d as a 60-year-old man was critically injured and transported via ambulance to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Following the accident, the involved driver did indeed remain at the scene and was cooperative answering all questions asked via the Tulare Police Department.
At this time, liability remains unclear as the collision is currently under investigation.
