HUMBOLDT: Pedestrian Pinned Under Vehicle After Crash on CentralHUMBOLDT, California — A pedestrian was severely injured after being pinned under a vehicle on Central Avenue in McKinleyville, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

On December 14 at about 8:00 p.m., a white Dodge Ram struck a pedestrian in front of a McDonald’s store.

The involved vehicle was located by responding emergency crews crashed into a telephone pole.

Witnesses claimed a pedestrian was pinned under the vehicle. But law enforcement officials have yet to confirm on the matter.

The CHP team logged this incident as a major injury collision but no further information was provided on the injured party.

Due to several factors remain unclear, investigation is underway.
