Fatal Pedestrian Accident Near Taylor Street
SAN JOSE, Calif. (June 14, 2024) — A fatal pedestrian accident occurred early Friday morning on Highway 87, just south of Taylor Street in San Jose.
The deadly crash occurred at around 2:50 a.m. on June 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol and NBC.
CHP officials reported the they found the pedestrian down in the northbound middle lanes of the highway near the off ramp. The victim’s age, gender and identity were not released, pending notification of their family.
It’s unknown at this time if the driver involved stopped, but investigators are working on the case.
