Fatal Pedestrian Accident on PCH in Torrance | Motorist Arrested

TORRANCE, Calif. (April 21, 2025) – A pedestrian was fatally struck in a four-vehicle crash involving a hit-and-run driver on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and Ocean Avenue in Torrance.

The deadly crash occurred Saturday night on April 19th when the victim reportedly fell off a curb into traffic lanes, the Torrance Police Department reported.

One of the drivers struck the unidentified person and fled the scene.

Also, police investigating the pedestrian accident determined one driver was intoxicated and they were arrested for driving under the influence, police said.
