Pedestrian Suffers Major Injuries
SACRAMENTO, California (October 10, 2016) – A pedestrian sustained injuries after being hit by a vehicle at Stockton Boulevard and Chandler Drive Monday evening, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
As per the log, a pedestrian was walking near the area of the intersection when he was suddenly struck by a passing gray sedan at about 10:31 p.m. The impact overthrown the pedestrian several feet away from the point of collision.
Responding paramedics rescued the pedestrian found laying on the ground and suffering in injuries. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of major trauma.
Further, no immediate information was provided on the involved driver.
Investigation is underway due to several factors remain unclear.
