LOS ANGELES, California (October 12, 2016) — An elderly man using a walker was struck by a green taxi cab early Wednesday morning at the intersection of 3rd Street and San Pedro, according to On Scene TV.
The victim was critically injured in the collision that took place about 12:31 a.m. this morning in a marked crosswalk. The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Division responded with paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department to help the injured man. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
The male taxi driver remained at the scene and was cooperative with authorities.
