Pedro Alvarez, 30, Killed in Victorville Crash on Bear Valley Road
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 16, 2022) – A crash killed Pedro Alvarez near Bear Valley Road and Seventh Avenue in Victorville.
A family member identified the 30-year-old Victorville man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place last week on Friday.
The incident happened when Pedro Alvarez was riding a white Suzuki GSX-R600L9 motorcycle west on Bear Valley Road in Victorville.
At the same time, a Silver Fiat 500L made a left turn from Bear Valley into a shopping center parking lot. In the process, the motorcyclist hit the rear passenger door of the car.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The two crashed near the intersection with Seventh Avenue. The Victor Valley News and Daily Press wrote that the accident occurred on August 12 at about 10:57 a.m.
Pedro Alvarez ended ejected from his motorcycle as a result of the crash. Paramedics rushed him to the Desert Valley Hospital, where he soon died.
The wife of the rider set up a GoFundMe page to help cover his funeral costs. Meanwhile, deputies did not mention if the driver of the Fiat stopped or sustained any injury following the wreck.
The cause of the Victorville crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information can call the Sheriff’s Station at 760- 241-2911.
