Pedro Fuentes, 17, Killed in Tustin Crash on Legacy Road
TUSTIN (March 24, 2018) – A teenage boy who died after a traffic collision along Legacy Road Friday afternoon has been identified as Pedro Fuentes, according to The Orange County Register.
The 17-year-old Santa Ana resident was killed after a solo-car crash which occurred at about 2:50 p.m.
in the 16000 block of Legacy Road.
As per the article, officials said an Acura Infiniti M37 slammed into a cement post on Legacy Road. The driver of the car then lost control and hit a truck. The Infiniti ultimately rolled over upon impact.
A report by NBC Los Angeles and ABC 7 indicated that the vehicle was traveling east at a high rate of speed when it veered off the roadway and crashed.

The seven people riding the Infiniti at the time were extricated from the wreckage using the Jaws of Life. Fuentes was pronounced dead as a result of the wreck.
The other occupants were hospitalized and were listed in critical condition. Their names were not released but they were described as three 17-year-old boys, two 17-year-old girls and a 20-year-old woman.
The incident remains under investigation.
