Pedro Garcia, 66, Hit and Killed by Car in Fillmore
FILLMORE (October 12, 2018) – A pedestrian killed after a traffic accident on Ventura Street Thursday morning has been identified as Pedro Garcia, according to The Ventura County Star.
Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office said the 66-year-old Fillmore man was a victim of a tragic collision which occurred at approximately 6:10 a.m.
As per the article, officials affirmed that Garcia was walking in the 700 block of Ventura Street when he was struck by a vehicle. Ventura Street is also known as Highway 126.
Garcia was immediately transported to Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the car involved was reportedly unharmed in the crash. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
