Pedro Pantoja Jr., 29, Suspect in Fatal Hit-and-Run Collision on Park Avenue
Tustin, CA (April 18, 2021) – Police arrested 29-year-old Pedro Pantoja Jr. in relation with a fatal DUI collision that occurred on Park Avenue Sunday.
According to My News LA, Pedro Pantoja Jr. triggered a car accident in the 2800 block of Park Avenue in Tustin. For reasons still unclear, the suspect led the police to a chase. The pursuit slowed down when Pedro Pantoja Jr. struck other vehicles in the area near Jamboree Road and Warner Avenue.

Officials said after the first crash, Pedro Pantoja Jr. continued driving and hit another car in the 2800 block of Park Avenue. Shortly after 8:45 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the site of the second collision and found a 62-year-old man dead.
Meanwhile, authorities said Pedro Pantoja Jr. fled the scene after the catastrophic incident. However, responding police apprehended the man. Irvine police reportedly made the arrest of Pantoja and booked him on vehicular manslaughter, causing injury to his passenger while driving under the influence, vehicle theft, a parole violation and evading a police officer.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
