Perla Medina, 37, Fatal Victim in Collision Near Rancho California Road Saturday
Temecula, CA (July 31, 2021) – Perla Medina, a 37-year-old woman, died following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 15 early Saturday.
According to My News LA, the emergency teams responded to a call of a traffic collision on the freeway at the Rancho California Road overpass. Responding California Highway Patrol personnel found a woman lying in the number one and two lanes of 15 Freeway.
Paramedics sadly pronounced the female party dead shortly after 4:20 a.m. Authorities identified the deceased as Perla Medina, of Escondido.

Meanwhile, investigators mentioned a pickup and a male party were also found at the scene. However, as officers conducted traffic control, the man got into his pickup and drove away.
The article published online identified the driver as a Hispanic male; age 35 to 45; between 5 feet, 7 inches and 5 feet, 9 inches tall; with dark hair and wearing what appeared to be a gray T-shirt.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
