PERRIS, California (May 27, 2015) — Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a collision on the southbound Interstate 215 Freeway at East Highway 74, according to a press release issued by the CAL FIRE Riverside Fire Department.
About 3:29 p.m., police and firefighters responded to the collision where two people were trapped in the wreckage of a crash involving two drivers. Paramedics rushed them to the hospital where one person was treated for major and the other minor injuries.
An investigation is underway by the CHP.
“Police will gather evidence and interview those involved as well as witnesses to piece together what led to the crash and who is liable,” said Attorney James Johnson. “I hope those hurt get the best care available for a full recovery.”
