7 Injured in Perris Crash on 215 Freeway and 4th Street
PERRIS, CA (April 8, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash on the 215 Freeway and 4th Street in the city of Perris.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the accident on Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck on April 7 at about 9:17 p.m.
Cal Fire said the incident happened when multiple vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Perris. They crashed on the 215 Freeway and 4th Street.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters soon arrived at the scene and extricated two trapped occupants from the wreckage. A total of seven people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Two patients sustained moderate injuries while three others survived with minor injuries. Paramedics took them to the hospital for treatment.
Medical personnel at the site evaluated two more patients who then declined transport. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of the 215 Freeway to shut down near 4th Street following the wreck. The cause of the Perris crash is still under investigation.
