1 Seriously Injured in Perris Car Crash on Cajalco Road Wednesday
PERRIS, CA (June 25, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Cajalco Road in the city of Perris.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the accident on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:03 p.m.
The incident happened on June 22 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Perris. The cars crashed in the 13300 block of Cajalco Road near the Lake Mathews.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then freed one trapped occupant from the wreckage. The rescued person sustained moderate to serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon rushed the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Cajalco Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Perris car crash is still under investigation.
