PERRIS ACCIDENT: Hit-and-run Driver Collides with Home
PERRIS, California (May 2, 2014) — A driver crashed his brown Honda Accord into a home Friday morning and fled on foot at 17779 Gustin Lane, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 8:57 a.m.., CHP officers reported a Hispanic man with black hair, a white T-shirt, gray pants and tan boots crashed into the home and took off from the scene. CHP officers went after the man and chased him down a dirt road at Extravaganza Lane and Cajalco.
There were no reported injuries, however, paramedics with CAL FIRE Riverside were sent to the scene of the accident.
“Hopefully no one was hurt in this crash and that this driver is caught by police,” said Attorney James Johnson.
