1 Killed, 2 Injured in Perris Crash at Nuevo Road and Redlands Avenue
PERRIS, CA (July 2, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and seriously injured two others at Nuevo Road and Redlands Avenue in Perris.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place early Friday. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:45 a.m.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Perris. They crashed at the intersection of Nuevo Road and Redlands Avenue.
2 Cars Collide in Perris
Deputies described the cars involved as a 2004 Mercedes Benz CLK 320 and a 2006 Volvo S40. The Volvo obtained major damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then pronounced a passenger in the Volvo dead at the scene. The drivers of both vehicles ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon treated the patients for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, officials forced the area of Nuevo Road and Redlands Avenue to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Perris crash is still under investigation.
