Pedestrian Killed in Perris Crash on Nandina Avenue
PERRIS, CA (November 12, 2022) – A crash killed a pedestrian along Nandina Avenue in the city of Perris.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Saturday evening. officers reported the collision at about 6:04 p.m.
The incident began when a gray or silver Honda sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed on Nandina Avenue in Perris. The car was speeding at 90 mph at the time.
Speeding Driver Hits Victim
The California Highway Patrol said the Honda then struck the pedestrian in the 21100 block of the road. The sedan rolled over due to the impact of the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The speeding driver sustained serious injuries as a result of the wreck.
The name of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Nandina Avenue to shut down for a time following the incident.
The cause of the fatal Perris pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
