Head-on Crash in Perris on Highway 74
PERRIS, Calif. (Feb. 19, 2025) — A head-on car accident in Perris happened Wednesday on Highway 74 at Ellis Avenue in Riverside County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred on eastbound SR-74 around 6:05 a.m. on Feb. 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a Chevrolet Malibu were involved. The vehicles were blocking state Route 74 and one person became trapped in the pickup truck. A bystander attempted to help the person out before firefighters arrived.
CAL Fire Riverside sent paramedics to help those involved, but it’s unknown if anyone was transported to a hospital.
Investigators are working to determine liability for the crash on Highway 74 in Perris.
