Perris crash Nuevo Foothill
1 Injured in Perris Hit-and-Run Crash at Nuevo Road and Foothill Avenue
PERRIS, CA (August 23, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Nuevo Road and Foothill Avenue in Perris.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place early Monday. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:48 a.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Perris. They crashed at the intersection of Nuevo Road and Foothill Avenue.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Dunlap Drive. They found one person left wounded as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not release the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that one of the drivers involved did not stop to help and fled the area. Officers forced the intersection of Nuevo Road and Foothill Avenue to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Perris hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
