PERRIS, California (Monday, July 20, 2015) – The California Department of Forestry responded to a collision between a vehicle of unknown description and a dirt bike on Ellis and Cowie Avenues.
The incident appears to have been a hit-and-run. The respondent recalled only having heard the impact, but did not witness it. The dirt bike was removed from the scene of the accident by a flatbed wrecker, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at 7:27 p.m. The police are investigating what led to the crash.
