FAIRFIELD, California (April 21, 2016) – A person was killed after being hit by a Capitol Corridor train Thursday morning, according to KCRA News.
The accident happened just before 7:50 a.m. in Suisun City.
Preliminary report stated that the train stopped in between the Davis and Suisun City stations when the tragic incident was announced over the loudspeaker.
The identity of the fatality remained private with the authorities until families and friends have been respectively notified.
Investigators continue gathering more evidences before pronouncing closure and the cause of the fatal event.
