2 Vehicle Crash, Head Injury for a Passenger
Petaluma, Calif. (June 30, 2023) — A two-vehicle accident occurred Friday afternoon in the city of Petaluma California, on Lakeville Highway near Cannon Lane.
The collision occurred about 2:56 p.m. on June 30th, in Sonoma County according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A silver Toyota truck and a black sports car hit one another while one of the vehicle was changing lanes, near Cannon Lane. The collision caused one of the vehicles to go into the right shoulder and the other to stay in the middle of the lane becoming a major traffic hazard for all those travelling own Lakeville Highway. One driver became injured and acquired a large bump to the head, while the other driver and her son came out of the accident with no injuries.
Paramedics were called and responded to help those hurt in the crash. Tow trucks were also requested to clean debris along with aiding in removing the damaged vehicle from the middle of one of the highway lanes.
Investigators are working on the case to determine who is at fault.
