1 Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 101 Wednesday
Petaluma, CA (April 14, 2021) – Injuries were reported following a traffic accident on Highway 101 Wednesday morning, the Press Democrat News reported.
Our sources indicated the wreck involved as many as four automobiles. Preliminary investigation revealed a Ford F250 rear-ended for an unknown reason a Toyota Tacoma stopped in traffic. The force from the impact caused the Ford to roll over and land on its roof in the center lanes of the highway near East Washington Street.
According to the news article published online, the collision pushed the Toyota forward. For this reason, the Toyota struck a Nissan Murano. Then, the Murano ended up slamming into the vehicle in front of it–an Acura MDX.
Major Car Accident in Petaluma, April 14
Medical personnel arrived at the site shortly after 9:15 a.m. Paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person suffered moderate injuries as a result of the incident. An ambulance transported the patient to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Further investigation on the car accident in Petaluma is ongoing.
