Man Dies at Hospital After Crash on North McDowell Boulevard
Petaluma, CA (October 26, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Saturday on North McDowell Boulevard, the Argus Courier News reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle was leaving from the 333 block of North McDowell. The driver apparently turned right onto North McDowell Boulevard and struck a pedestrian crossing the street. Due to the force from the impact, the man fell down and hit his head on the roadway.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Petaluma
Shortly after 12:42 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the victim with serious injuries. According to the article published online, an ambulance rushed the injured party to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa. Sadly, the patient succumbed to his injuries and eventually passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to investigate at this time the precise cause of the deadly accident that happened on North McDowell Boulevard in Petaluma.
