Motorcyclist Injured in Petaluma Crash at Magnolia and Thompson
PETALUMA (April 1, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a traffic collision in the area of Magnolia Avenue and Thompson Lane on Sunday afternoon.
The accident took place on March 31 at about 1:27 p.m. near Bodega Avenue.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch said a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle and a red colored sedan collided for an unknown reason at the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Thompson Lane.

Paramedics responded to the scene and found the rider suffering from minor injuries as a result of the crash. The motorcyclist was then transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for further medical aid.
The name and condition of the patient at this time were not disclosed. Meanwhile, the driver of the car involved apparently pulled over to the right hand shoulder following the wreck.
Authorities are gathering more information and evidence to determine the cause of the incident.
