Man Killed in Hit-and-run Pedestrian Accident; Suspect at Large
LONG BEACH, Calif. (Dec. 5, 2018) – Police are searching for a suspect who struck and killed Pete Liva Save, 54, Tuesday night and fled the scene at 67th Street and Long Beach Boulevard.
The collision took place about 10:30 p.m. last night at the Long Beach intersection.
Firefighters responded with paramedics and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The Long Beach Police Department was on scene to investigate the crash. They are piecing together evidence and any witness statements to help them find the suspect. So far, there has been no description of the vehicle provided to the public. Witnesses or anyone with information about the accident, are urged to call Long Beach police at (562) 570-7260.
Police are hoping to find evidence that will lead to the arrest of the suspect.
