SAN BERNARDINO, California (June 4, 2015) — A multi-vehicle crash involving as many as 11 drivers was reported Thursday afternoon on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway at State Route 138, a California Highway Patrol report said.
About 1:08 p.m., CHP officers say multiple drivers including a tan Grand Caravan, a black Honda Accord collided in the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes. Paramedics responded to the scene to help those who were hurt in the crash.
Four people were hospitalized including two people who were taken to Desert Valley Hospital and two were taken to San Bernardino Community Hospital.
The black 4-door Honda Accord was impounded after the crash.
Police are investigating the crash to determine liability.
