PHELAN: 4 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 238 at the Interstate 15 Freeway

PHELAN, California (October 9, 2015) — At least four people were injured Friday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on the eastbound State Route 138 at the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway in San Bernardino County, a California Highway Patrol report said.

The crash involved major injuries and was reported about 8:50 a.m. Paramedics responded to help those who were injured in the crash.

The report said a maroon or white 2004 Ford E350 cargo van allegedly sideswiped a car that was traveling westbound.

A white Dodge Durango pickup truck and a green sedan were also involved. One of the vehicles overturned and the Dodge pickup truck had a rear flat tire.  The van involved also had two flat tires.

Multiple tow trucks were sent to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles.

A police investigation will determine liability for this crash and this report will be issued upon its completion.
