1 Injured in Phelan Crash at Johnson Road and Duncan Road
PHELAN, CA (September 9, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Johnson Road and Duncan Road in Phelan.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Thursday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 7:44 a.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Phelan. They crashed at the intersection of Johnson Road and Duncan Road.
2 Cars Collide
The report described the cars as a white Toyota Sienna and a blue Toyota sedan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They found one person who complained of pain to their abdomen and back as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took the patient to the Desert Valley Hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Johnson and Duncan roads to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Phelan crash is still under investigation.
