3 Injured in Phelan Crash on Palmdale Road Near Buttonwood Street
PHELAN, CA (April 22, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash on Palmdale Road near Buttonwood Street in Phelan.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the collision at about 8:38 p.m.
The incident happened when four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the community of Phelan. They crashed on Palmdale Road, just east of Buttonwood Street.
The California Highway Patrol described the three cars involved as a white Nissan Altima, a white Kia Optima and a gray Toyota Camry. The Nissan and the Kia obtained major damage upon impact.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The Toyota ended up with front-end damage as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a total of three people hurt.
An air ambulance took one patients to the Loma Linda University Medical Center with critical injuries. Ground ambulances rushed the other two for treatment of minor injuries.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Phelan crash is still under investigation.
CHP forced a stretch of Palmdale Road to shut down for more than one hour near Buttonwood following the wreck.
