BREAKING NEWS: Minor Injury Collision on Palmdale Road (SR-18)
PHELAN, Calif. (June 12, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash involving minor injuries happened early Wednesday in Phelan on Highway 18 also known as Palmdale Road.
The collision occurred at around 4:53 a.m. on June 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP dispatch operators reported the drivers of a black pickup truck and a grey Ford Escape were involved in the collision. The vehicles collided due to unknown circumstances in the eastbound lanes of SR-18 near Eaby Road in San Bernardino County.
Police responded and located at least one person with injuries. Paramedics rushed those hurt o Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the highway and investigators are working to determine fault for the Phelan crash on Highway 18.
