Several Vehicles Involved in Deadly Accident on I-15 This Morning
PHELAN (November 8, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a deadly collision involving a semi-truck and several other vehicles took place this morning on I-15 south near Electrical Maintenance Road.
Authorities were notified of the accident at 11:18 a.m. where a big rig had overturned at the off-ramp while three additional vehicles were also involved including one vehicle left on its side and another resting in the slow lane facing the wrong direction.

Multiple parties were trapped following the wreck leaving at least one person with fatal injuries and several others injured requiring immediate medical attention.
Per CHP, it is believed that the semi-truck driver’s brakes may have gone out ultimately resulting in the crash.
At this time, no details have been provided in regards to the identities of those involved and their current conditions.
Major traffic delays ensued leaving several lanes on I-15 south closed off while the scene was assessed.

Authorities will examine photos that were taken of the scene as well as compiled evidence will help investigators determine the ultimate cause of the collision.
