Just before 9:00 p.m., the driver of a light sedan headed westbound on Duncan traveling at excessive speeds blew through a stop and broadsided a black Pontiac headed northbound on Johnson.
The Pontiac had been occupied by a woman and three juveniles. All four were injured, one seriously.
Three men were inside the sedan whose driver caused the collision. One of the men was fully ejected from the vehicle while a second was partially ejected. Firefighters were needed to help remove the partially ejected injured male and the third man. All three men were seriously injured.
The seven injured victims were transported to different trauma centers via three separate airships which landed at the scene.
California Highway Patrol officials are investigating the collision and have not disclosed whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
