December 20, 2018 – The suspects in the deadly pedestrian accident last month on Elk Mountain Road have been identified as 35-year-old Phillip Harrison and 48-year-old Kirk Hamilton.
According to the Press Democrat, Harrison and Hamilton worked together to cover-up the real circumstances that left 57-year-old James Jobe Carpenter dead.
On November 19, Monday, Harrison was driving a water truck and delivering a load of water to a private residence on Elk Mountain Road. The driver was reportedly met in the area by Carpenter and 30-year-old Jayson Malson. For reasons still under investigation, Harrison lost control of his water truck and struck Carpenter, along with Malson’s Subaru.
