Rancho Cucamonga Man, 40, Killed in Oak Hills Crash

 Phillip Laurence Rincon Fatal Oak Hills Crash Interstate 15 Freeway (July 25)SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (July 28, 2021) – Phillip Laurence Rincon, 40, of Rancho Cucamonga, died Monday in a two-vehicle crash on the Interstate 15 Freeway in Oak Hills, California.

The collision happened around 3:57 a.m. on Sunday, July 25th the northbound side of the I-15 Freeway, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.

The drivers of a silver 2007 BMW sedan and a gray Toyota sedan collided for unknown reasons.

The two vehicles wound up on the right shoulder. Also, debris was scattered across the highway. The vehicles collided just south of Oak Hills Road in Oak Hills, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Phillip Rincon Killed in Oak Hills Accident

Authorities located Phillip Rincon lying on the ground. The report did not mention if he was ejected during the crash.

Paramedics performed CPR in an attempt to save his life, but unfortunately he died on scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported at least one other person to Desert Valley Hospital.

Investigators seek to determine the cause of the crash and liability. It’s unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol were factors contributing to the crash.
