Rollover Crash on Highway 128, West of Flynn Creek Road
PHILO, Calif. (July 6, 2020) — Several people were injured Saturday in a rollover crash on Highway 128 in Philo.
The crash was reported at 3:41 p.m., just west of Flynn Creek Road in Philo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The full-size, 4-wheel drive pickup truck reportedly was coming too fast around a corner when it overturned with several people in the vehicle. Bystanders came to help the victims and managed to get an older man out of the vehicle, but firefighters were required to extricate others who were trapped. One ambulance and a helicopter ambulance were called to the scene due to major injuries.
The pickup truck was towed from the scene by Starr Automotive. The cause of the crash and liability are under investigation.
