One Injured in Collision That Closed 10 to 110 Transition in Downtown LA

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Sept. 25, 2026) – One person hospitalized following a crash Friday between a pickup truck and a Ford Mustang that closed the transition road from the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway to the Harbor (110) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles.

The drivers of the Mustang sedan and the Ford F-150 pickup truck were involved in a collision at 12:59 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 25th, 2026, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch log.

Paramedics responded and transported one person with injuries to a hospital, but there are no further details about their condition.

During the collision at least one of the vehicles hit attenuator sand barrels at the divider in the roadway. Meanwhile, the transition road was closed down and a SigAlert was issued to allow crews to clear away debris from the wreckage.

The freeway’s transition lanes reopened to traffic around 5:45 a.m., the report said.
