Pickup Truck, Big Rig in Fatal Crash on 605 Freeway in Pico Rivera

PICO RIVERA, Calif., (July 24, 2026) — A fatal collision occurred in Pico Rivera early Friday morning on the northbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway at Beverly Boulevard, involving a red semi-truck and a black Chevrolet pickup truck.
The tragic incident was reported on July 24th at approximately 2:19 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash led to all lanes being blocked, with the Chevrolet pickup truck reportedly ending up on its side and partially obstructing the slow lane. Emergency responders, including the Los Angeles County Fire Department, arrived on the scene to assist with the situation.
