I-10 Freeway Crash Involving Injuries
LOS ANGELES, California (July 10, 2017) — A crash between a white Ford 350 pickup truck and a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was reported early Monday morning on the Interstate 10 Santa Monica Freeway, just west of La Cienega Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place about 4:50 a.m. between a small pickup truck and a larger truck hauling bricks. One of the vehicles may have struck the center divider and a male occupant of that vehicle was thrown out. The collision also caused bricks to fall out of one of the trucks and debris was strewn across the roadway prompting a SigAlert.
Several other vehicles may have been damaged due to the crash. A gold Buick LaSabre struck rock debris and suffered damage.
Both sides of the freeway were temporarily closed to cleanup the debris.
Paramedics responded to the scene, but the extent of injuries was not disclosed in the report.
