Pico Rivera Car Accident Interstate 605 Freeway, Beverly Blvd. PICO RIVERA, Calif. (Jan. 19, 2021) — A Pico Rivera car accident happened today on the Interstate 605 Freeway at Beverly Boulevard.

At least two-vehicles were involved in the collision about 12:11 p.m. on January 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The drivers of a black Chevrolet Suburban SUV, a silver vehicle and a white Mercedes were involved. The silver vehicle was facing in the wrong direction following the crash, police said. Vehicles were blocking the HOV and No. 1 lanes. Police issued a SigAlert due to the crash. It was set for at least 30 minutes due to the road being blocked by vehicles.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene to check for injuries. It’s unknown if anyone was injured in the crash at this time.

Meanwhile, investigators handling the case will determine fault for the collision.
