1 Killed in Pico Rivera Crash at Gallatin Road and Rosemead Boulevard
PICO RIVERA, CA (August 27, 2022) – A car crash killed at least one person at Gallatin Road and Rosemead Boulevard in Pico Rivera.
According to an article published by the Whittier Daily News, the tragic accident took place on Saturday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:37 p.m.
The incident happened when five vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Pico Rivera. They crashed at the intersection of Gallatin Road and Rosemead Boulevard.
Multiple Cars Collide
The California Highway Patrol described four of the cars involved as a white Subaru, a black Jeep, a blue Nissan sedan, and a black Ford sedan.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and soon pronounced a man dead at the scene. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
The report did not mention if any other party ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Gallatin and Rosemead to shut down for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Pico Rivera crash is still under investigation.
